We can give owners or agents a fixed price for any job at short notice. Alternatively a daily rate can be negotiated if the owner prefers. We will suggest how many crew will be needed and the price will include their food.We will provide all charts and pilot books needed but require that an in-date liferart as well as normal safety equipment is on board i.e. lifejackets, flares and fire extinguishers.
Travel costs, harbour dues and fuel used on the voyage will be charged for, but all are kept to a minimum
Delays due to bad weather are our problem but equipment or mechanical failures that stop us proceeding to sea will be charged for at a demurrage rate to be agreed beforehand. Depending on the length of voyage, several free days are allowed for delays at no extra charge. We are generous about this and demurrage is only rarely charged.
Our skippers have a good engineering knowledge gained over several years in many different yachts and other vessels. We are familiar with most modern yacht engines and their ancilliary systems as well as hydraulic and electrical installations. We can navigate using the ‘old fashioned’ methods but are equally at home with the latest GPS plotters and electronic chart equipment.
Skippers and crews are always personally selected by Trevor Vincett and although not highly paid are very experienced and act professionally at all times. They are all non-smokers.
Regular updates of the delivery progress will be made to owners.
